When producing ice, the ice plate is temporarily closed, and water is sprayed from bottom to top into the ice chamber at -25ºC to create ice cubes. This process ensures almost 100% removal of impurities, resulting in pure and transparent ice cubes.
Once the ice is formed, the ice plate's temperature is elevated by a high-temperature hot air flow to de-ice, allowing the ice to fall into the storage refrigerator under its weight.
