When producing ice, the ice plate is temporarily sealed, and water is meticulously sprayed from bottom to top into the ice chamber at a frigid -25ºC. This process results in crystal-clear ice cubes with nearly 100% impurity removal, ensuring purity and transparency.
Once the ice is perfectly formed, the temperature of the ice plate is increased using a flow of high-temperature hot air. This innovative de-icing method allows the ice to effortlessly drop into the storage refrigerator under its own weight.
